July Favorites

Truly cannot get over how fast this summer is going! July is always such a fun month for me because it’s my birthday! We got to take a trip back to the east coast to see family and it was so great—truly what I needed to feel relaxed and refreshed.

Here are some of my favorites from the past month…

JENNI KAYNE TOPANGA CANDLE

I got a mini version of this candle last year and barely burned it because I loved the scent so much, I didn’t want it to disappear! FREE ASSEMBLY cotton DRESS

This dress literally arrived last night when I was writing this post and I HAD to put it in here! It is the perfect easy, throw-on summer dress and comes in a bunch of colors. I bought it in bone in a size small, and currently have the black and blue striped one in my cart. At only $17, it’s a total steal for a piece I know I’ll wear over and over and over!

MARK & GRAHAM GINGHAM DOG BOWL

If you missed my instagram post, we got a puppy! And of course he has to have things that work with our decor, so this gingham bowl was a no brainer. I also got him a chic woven placemat for it sit on—oh the things we do for pets!

SANTA MARIA NOVELLA WEEK-END SOAP

I started using bar soap this month in an effort to create less waste and am loving the bar soaps from Santa Maria Novella. They are my go to for all things scent so it’s no surprise I love these. I picked up these soaps awhile ago because I loved the packaging, but finally used them this month on our trip. They’re the perfect size for a week away and smell amazing. At home I am also using their classic Melograno soap, which smells heavenly.

ATHLETA ELATION HIGH RISE LEGGINGS

I was in need of some new workout clothes and went into Athleta to try on their leggings after a friend recommended them. I ended up leaving with a pair of the Elation leggings, Stash leggings, Elation bike shorts and this breezy tank. Needless to say, I fell in love! They are such good quality and I’ve heard they hold up a lot better than Lululemon leggings.

AERIN GARDENIA RATTAN PERFUME

I asked for this perfume for my birthday (having never smelled it!) because I figured something with rattan in the name would be great. And luckily I was right! This scent is so pretty for summer—nice and light and super unique. I get compliments every time I wear it!
