I hope you are all staying healthy and safe at home! Last week was a particularly challenging week for me. My spirit and energy felt much lower and it was hard to stay positive. I heard from a number of friends that they were feeling similarly—I think the unknown is really starting to weigh on people. This week I am trying to start things on a positive note and get back into a routine. I find that when I have more structure, I’m more productive and feel better overall!

Sharing a few discoveries and things that are making me happy…

Protecting:
One of my favorite textile companies, Heather Taylor Home, is making masks from her amazing textiles. She is selling them in packs of 10 and is donating 10 for every pack they sell.

Saie Beauty, a clean beauty line I love, is sending hand sanitizer with every order, as well as donating to Feeding America. I just placed an order for their Super Glowy Gel and Tinted Brow Butter.

Puzzling:
I ordered this puzzle for us to do one night and can’t wait for it to arrive! We’re trying to find things to do besides watch TV every night…

Working Out:
A friend shared this 10-minute Tracy Anderson workout and I’m going to try it one morning this week!

— I love doing pilates and want to try these home workouts by Pilates by Amanda.

Stitching:
I just received my first needlepoint canvas, which I ordered from Lycette Designs. I’ve been wanting to try needlepoint forever and am glad to have this extra time to pick up a new hobby. More on this topic coming soon!

Coveting:
— Allllllll of the white tops! I just ordered this gauzy one and have my eye on this embroidered one.

These cozy lounge pants—I have a pair of their sweats in a similar fabric and wear them all the time! I like that they are lightweight, but still cozy.

Listening:
— Lots of new playlists coming out during this time! A few favorites: ‘Countryside Calm’ by Mr & Mrs Smith, ‘Hacienda at Home’ by Scribe Winery, ‘Nancy Meyers’ Movie Goodness’ and ‘Nancy Meyers’ Kitchen

— I also want to try listening to this podcast Liz recommended—I’ve seen it pop up a few other places as a must listen.

Burning:
— I’ve become such a big fan of these affordable Jasmine candles (thank you Chrissy for introducing me!). I love having candles burning and these aren’t expensive, nor is the smell too overpowering.

Cooking:
— This week we are going to make one of my favorite pasta dishes from Jon & Vinny’s: Spicy Fusilli alla Vodka! It’s so easy and delicious—we always make a double batch to have for a few days.
