Sorry for the lack of posts around here! I've been out and about enjoying the warm weather and just can't seem to open my computer in my free time. (Instagram seems to be about all I can handle.)

But I'm bringing you a little Sunday night inspiration. Meet Emily Gillis, an Australian graphic designer with a minimalistic sensibility. I found her through Lucy and can't stop staring at her light-filled (and plant filled) workspace. Her work is beautifully simple and ranges from branding to interiors. She's been freelancing since graduating from school and her next stop is NYC (Emily if you're reading - let's hang!).

I am obsessed with reading about other people's beauty routines and was so excited to read all about Alexa Chung's routine on Into the Gloss. I will now promptly buy all the things she uses.

I've been loving Jessica's series Conversations with Creatives, but I especially loved her latest one with the sisters behind the brand Building Block. I love their minimal accessories and enjoyed getting to read more about them!

I am designing my first ever wedding invitations (for my best friend, no less!) and am so inspired by Lisa Hedge's designs for her new venture, Venamour. P.S. the site design is stunning so be sure to check it out!

weekend moments

Better late than never right? This weekend was perfect. The weather was beautiful and with the extra day off it felt like we were on a mini vacation. Jaymee and Janelle were in town visiting so we spent our days wandering the city with them, eating lots of delicious food. There's nothing better than spending time with great friends - I feel so lucky to have found those two (+ their significant others!).

weekend moments

This weekend was a busy one. On Saturday I explored Greenpoint with Ben, an area of Brooklyn I'd never been to. One of the highlights was Spina, an amazing flower shop that also serves coffee. I will definitely be going back there! I wandered around for hours with no set plan - something I rarely have time to do but really enjoy doing.

Sunday was spent checking out the National Stationery Show. One of my freelance clients, Linda & Harriett, was exhibiting so I got to go check out her amazing booth and see some other favorites like Rifle Paper Co. and Sugar Paper. I'd never been to the show before so it was a bit overwhelming, but really exciting to finally be there!

Jessie makes some of the most unique playlists I know of and I love her current mix, which instantly transports you to sunny California. I've been listening to it all week!

I first saw the Aether Cone Speaker in Lonny and was fascinated by it's unique design. I love it's simplicity and how easily it would blend into your home.

A longtime MKA fan, I've loved watching them evolve into fashion designers and was so excited to see that they've opened their first store in LA. The space is stunning and I'd have no problem moving right in!

We've finally experienced warm temps here in NYC and I believe that summer may actually be on its way soon.

ONE / Everyone needs a fun pair of sunglasses and I love the neutral polka dots on this pair.

TWO / I love the hand drawn dots on this leather clutch.

THREE / A delicate cuff that won't clack like crazy while you're typing away on your computer (a common problem, right?)

FOUR / The perfect bralette to go under all your summer dresses and tanks.

FIVE / A different variation of the shirt from last week - and equally covetable.

SIX / I love these simple two-tone sandals that'll go with everything.

SEVEN / The easiest tunic dress for weekends at the beach.

EIGHT / Two years ago I stayed at a hotel and it had the best smelling soap I've ever used. I finally tracked it down and want a lifetime supply!
