This weekend was all about getting in the holiday spirit. We're 90% done with our shopping and we finally got our tree! Bonus holiday points because it was snowing when we got it. I checked out the new winter collection at Warby Parker and now I'm wanting a new pair of glasses (specifically the gray Sinclair frames). Hope you all had a great weekend!

I somehow missed October - oops! The months have been flying and I can't believe it's almost Christmas! November was a fun and busy month. We finally got to see The Head & The Heart in concert, which was so incredible. The new Clare Vivier boutique opened up here in NYC (which features that amazing collage wall above done by Simone Shubuck) and we, of course, traveled to LA for Thanksgiving. While in LA, I had brunch with two lovely ladies that I'd been dying to meet for awhile - Janelle & Jaymee - and we had such a great time together! I love the blogging world and all of the fun people you get to meet!
I keep finding reasons to visit Australia and now I wish I was there so I could visit The Design Files Open House in Sydney. Usually I'm all about neutrals and black and white, but this place is so happy and fun! The Open House is a dream Australian home in which everything is shoppable. It has me craving a bit of color (just a tiny bit!) for our apartment. If you're in Sydney, I highly recommend you stop by and check it out for me!

At the very top of places to visit on my trip to LA was Olive & June, a nail salon that opened in August. The salon was founded by Sarah Gibson Tuttle who recognized a void in nail salons, and boy did she deliver. The space is so beautiful and simple, with every detail carefully thought out. I love that you can quickly book appointments online and they keep track of all your preferences, from nail shape to massage pressure. I ended up going with the classic June manicure, and it was the most meticulous manicure I've ever had (and is still perfect, 4 days later). I can't even begin to say how lovely the interior is - I want to move right in! I can truly say that this was by far the best nail salon experience I've had and I can't wait to go back in on my next trip in January!
