I've been listening to a lot of podcasts recently and was pleasantly surprised to see that Kate from Wit & Delight was on a radio show recently. Kate is one of the smartest women I know and I loved getting to hear more from her.
Lotta Nieminen is a graphic designer and illustrator whose work I've admired for a long time. Design*Sponge recently featured "A Day In the Life" with her and I was fascinated with getting a peek into her life.
A couple weeks ago, my friend Kristen and I stopped by the AYR showroom. We were both very interested in their clothing and wanted to see it and try it on in person. We had the best time chatting with their employees and both walked out with this amazing dress, smartly named The Everywhere Dress. I am usually not a dress person, and I have to say that I've been wearing this dress non-stop. It is incredibly soft and incredibly easy (a big requirement for a dress for me). Sorry in advance for wearing it every day!
This (extra-long) weekend was one of those perfect weekends you never wanted to end. It started with an amazing stay at The Graham & Co., which far exceeded all my expectations and was wonderfully relaxing and fun. Next we headed to Woodstock for a family friend's annual garden party and it could not have been more perfect. Lots of afternoons at the pool followed by evenings filled with wine and great company. I'm heading into the week feeling so refreshed and with a lot more freckles. More coming on both of these trips soon - I hope you enjoyed your weekend as well!
I know, I know. I just came back to you and now I'm taking off for a few days. But I'm escaping NYC to head upstate for a much-needed long weekend in the Catskills. We are staying a night at The Graham & Co., which I am beyond excited for. It looks amazing and I've heard such good things from friends who have been and I'll be sure to report back! Follow along on instagram for some sneak peeks!
P.S. the photo is the home of one of The Graham & Co.'s founders!
Ever since getting this awesome manicure at Olive & June in January, I've been obsessed with opaque nude polishes and trying to recreate that same look (the original gel color was called "ink 3," if you're curious). After much experimenting, I wanted to share my favorite nude polishes: RGB Doll, Essie Topless & Barefoot and Essie Sand Tropez.

RGB Doll is definitely my go-to, however it's almost identical to Topless & Barefoot. I tend to favor Doll
though because I like that RGB polishes are five-free and are better for your nails. I've found that all three colors compliment most skin tones and look good on almost everyone. Sand Tropez is great if you are looking for a more gray nude, and it also changes depending on what kind of light you are in. Do you have a favorite nude polish? I'd love to try out more!
