Friday Favorites 2/4

I'm obsessed with this heart wreath. I can't believe it's February already but it means we are inching closer to spring and warmer weather! I hope everyone had a good week and didn't suffer too much because of the snow/ice storms that hit this week. I'm looking forward to a weekend spent outside of Philly with my parents helping them look for a new place as they are finally moving back to the east coast from Chicago! Happy weekend everyone!

Modern Beauty

I've been following Nicole Cohen's hilarious decor blog for awhile now and have seen bits and pieces of her apartment along the way. However, my jaw just about dropped when I came upon her amazing feature in the most recent issue of Rue. I'm not usually a huge fan of modern interiors but Nicole really knocked it out - every room is absolutely stunning. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the master bedroom; I literally cannot stop going back to the pictures of it. I love the combination of drama and lightness Nicole was able to achieve throughout their Upper East Side apartment. Enough talking, onto the pictures!

High Gloss

In case you were living under a rock (or snowbank) yesterday and missed it, High Gloss launched! It's a new online magazine describing itself as "a guide to a well-lived life" covering everything from interiors, fashion, entertaining and travel. I was a huge fan of all of the editor's blogs (Paloma, Kyle, Erin) before so I knew this was sure to be a hit! Here are some of my favorites from the premier issue!

My favorite feature was with Tia Zoldan. Her California home is stunning (I've been swooning over those pendants in her kitchen from Circa Lighting for a looong time now).




I love these two vignettes (from separate homes) and I always love me some Scalamandre Zebra wallpaper.



I love this glimpse into a day with High Gloss editor Shannon Wollack, especially since she stopped at all my favorite Brentwood Country Mart stores!



Totally into the "rustic-chic" look of this living room.



The cheery color palette of this pretty Valentine's Day table has me longing for spring.

Friday Favorites 1/28

I hope everyone had a great week and is looking forward to a wonderful weekend. I, for one, can't wait to catch up on some much needed sleep and just chill out. It's supposed to be cold and snowy all weekend long, which gives me the perfect opportunity to stay inside all cozied up! Happy weekend!

Blik Picks

Two summers ago I had the wonderful opportunity to intern at Blik in Venice, CA (I got to help with the relaunch of their snazzy site). I went to visit their new office while in town over winter break and got a sneak peek of some upcoming projects. Super excited to see that the Animal Friendlies series is now out! How cute are they? I think my favorite is the elephant balancing the stack of birds!
