Cozy At Home

Now that the weather is starting to warm up, I’ve been wanting to update some of my loungewear—I’ve been wearing the same pieces for awhile and am craving a refresh for spring/summer!

I’ve been living in the above ribbed pieces from Oyun Studio—their pieces feel really elevated and fit nicely into my existing wardrobe. I already know I’ll be wearing the ribbed tank all throughout spring & summer. I’ve also been wearing these pants constantly—they feel like pajamas but look more elevated and will be perfect for summer.

I was recently gifted a set of pima cotton pajamas from LAKE pajamas and am obsessed with them (wearing them now as I type this!). They are so comfortable and cozy—I’m already thinking about purchasing one of their short sets for summer.

Also on my wishlist—bike shorts! I love how they are styled below with an oversized button down. I’m considering this J.Crew pair or these gray ones.

I’ve also been adding some new pieces to our apartment to make our home cozier and more relaxing. Spending all this time at home has made me want to change so much stuff, reorganize and swap out pieces we are no longer loving.

I started by ordering a new linen duvet cover (our old one was falling apart) and am now wanting to upgrade our duvet insert to either this Parachute one or this Buffy one (please weigh in if you have either!). I also got some new pillows for our couch (Zara Home has such great ones!) and a rattan bench. I also got this throw blanket and it is the coziest we own! It’s so incredibly soft and well made.

I’ve found having a candle burning throughout the day creates a calmer atmosphere. Some days I won’t burn anything during the day and instead light one at night, which helps signify the end of the work day—I find it’s super important to have that distinction during this time! I love the candles from Jo Malone (Wood Sage & Sea Salt and Lime Basil & Mandarin) and Jenni Kayne (Cedar) and just bought a pack from my new favorite, Otherland (Chandelier & Rattan).

P.S. Use my code ALEX20 for 20% off at Jenni Kayne. And, with every purchase $200+ they’re including a copy of Jenni’s book, Pacific Natural.
