Sweater Edit

It’s no secret that I love sweaters. Even with our move to LA, I barely slimmed down my collection—I think I have at least 8 boxes marked sweaters for me to unpack soon. I wear them all year round and I like having lots of options, especially during the colder months when you get tired of wearing the same thing over and over and over.

My favorite places to shop for sweaters are Everlane, & Other Stories, Jenni Kayne, Alex Mill, H&M and J.Crew. I also like to peruse sites like Net-A-Porter and Moda Operandi for sweaters from brands like La Ligne, Toteme, Ganni, etc. Over the years I’ve started to spend a bit more on my sweaters because a quality sweater is such a good investment—you’ll have them much longer and care for them more. I love my sweaters a bit oversized so I’ll often size up, unless it’s a more fitted ribbed style, which I buy true to size.

Caring for your sweaters is so important! I take the time throughout the season (and again at the end of sweater season) to use a sweater stone or a sweater shaver to de-pill my sweaters. I also use this spray to freshen them up in between wears. Also, always store your sweaters folded! Putting them on hangers makes them droopy and stretch out.
