Things have been quite busy around here that I haven't been instagramming as much as usual, but here are a few photos from the past two weeks. The boy and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary (crazy!) with a wonderful dinner - complete with a fireworks display of a dessert! Fall is approaching here in the city (mixed with random hot summer days) so I've been slowly breaking out my fall clothes. This weekend I'm planning on wrapping up a bunch of freelance projects and resting as I've seem to come down with some sort of cold - probably from the weather changes. Hope you all have a good one!

I came across the French slipper brand Chatelles and am totally in love! They're completely customizable - keep them plain and simple, add a tassel or your initials. I also love the fact that they are latex-sanitized to fight bacteria and smells. Now the only problem is deciding which pair to get!
I'm so excited for today's giveaway with Photo-Canvas! Ever since my semester abroad, I've been wanting to blow up some of my photographs to hang in my apartment. I chose this photo I took from the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris to be a perfect reminder of my semester in Europe.
For a chance to win your own Photo-Canvas, leave a comment telling me what photo you'd make into a canvas.
For a second entry, like Dreams + Jeans and Photo-Canvas on Facebook.
(please leave a separate comment, for a maximum of 2 entries)

I'm in awe of how serene the home/workshop/showroom of designer Johanne Riis is. The black-edged window frames are such an unexpected and unique detail, and I love the occasional pops of coral and red.
When I was little I used to spend hours crafting intricate patterns out of geometric shaped blocks (and then made my mom photograph each and every one). These Kaleido Trays from A+R take me back to those pattern-making days. I'm dying to get a bright coral one and a gray one!

I'm a big architecture nerd and love the photography of Pedro Guerrero who photographed Frank Lloyd Wright (pictured above) for 20 years (and then Alexander Calder - a favorite sculptor). He passed away last week at the age of 95 and I wanted to share some of his photographs with you.
The past two weeks have been such an amazing whirlwind–it feels nice to be back to my normal routine. Here's a little recap of what I've been up to according to my instagram feed (follow @anyeske)!

Lately, I've started feeling more confident in my personal style. I feel like I know what I'm comfortable in and what looks good on me, which includes a lot of simple, classic pieces that can be worn season after season. As fall approaches, I'm finding myself drawn to investing in timeless pieces I know will last a long time versus trend-driven pieces.
