Last night I finally went to see Water for Elephants, which was wonderful and definitely lived up to the book; I would not have changed a thing! I could not be more obsessed with the costumes (designed by Jacqueline West), especially those on Reese Witherspoon. I highly recommend the movie, even if you haven't read the book!
As promised, I have returned to you and with a couple of announcements to share!
1. My portfolio is finally finished and is on its way to NYC to show to design professionals. If you're in the city, you can attend the show at Lubin House or see my portfolio online!
2. I'm excited to say that I am now available to do custom blog designs! Headers, backgrounds, Twitter icons/backgrounds, Facebook pictures, etc. Email me at email@example.com for more information!
Look out for another exciting announcement later in the week!
I can't stop thinking about this image! I'm obsessed with the unexpected combination of stripes (even the shoes!). Get the look by pairing striped pieces that have a "stripe" in common i.e. black in this case. So chic!

I've been secretly craving a bike from Adeline Adeline ever since I saw their line of goods last year. It comes as no surprise that Kate Spade has teamed up with the shop and collaborated on a Kate Spade bicycle! And how sweet is the promo video!

I have a confession. I have too much going on right now. My final portfolio is due on April 27 and until then I am busy busy wrapping up projects, having them photographed, and designing my portfolio. This book is the culmination of three years of intensely hard work, and on top of that I have other classes and obligations to attend to.
In short, I just can't do it all, and right now my blogging has to be put on the back burner. I'm not disappearing completely, I'll still be around and posting from time to time but I just can't keep up with my usual schedule.
See you in a few short weeks -- hard to believe I'll be just about done with college & on my way to graduation!!
I'm obsessed with the look of Jess Loraas' apartment featured yesterday on Design*Sponge. Modern, but with a light, comfortable feel to it. How cool is that wall-size map of Paris in the bedroom?
Sorry for my absence last week! My computer's screen decided to die - so convenient during midterms week. As of Friday I've been on spring break and starting tomorrow I'll be on a weeklong cruise in the Caribbean! Hope everyone has a great week and I'll be back to regular blogging on Monday the 21st!
In less than a week I'll be sailing away on a cruise ship leaving from Miami, stopping at Key West and Cozumel. It's my first cruise and I couldn't be more thrilled about spending four relaxing, sun-filled days on the ocean! I plan on packing lots of relaxed pieces like these.
