happy weekend

I know that I don't usually get too personal on here, but I'd like to start sharing small pieces of my life, whether it be more of my own photos or long-winded posts like the following. I know it's something you all say you want more of, and I know I love when other bloggers share parts of their lives with readers. I'm sure I'll be terrified after I hit publish on this, but here goes!

Lately, I've been thinking more deeply about what I want out of my blog and where I see it going. I realized that when I first started my blog, I had an end goal in mind, and when I reached that goal, I never really set a new one. My blog has evolved so much since I started it, along with myself, and I'm still figuring out where I want it to go. I realized I have all these things I want to do (and have been wanting to do for a long time), but I haven't written them down, so I never make any real progress on them. I have nothing reminding me to stay focused and work harder to achieve these goals, whether large or small.

I've been working with Jess Lively on a project and have since been catching up on her blog, which is all about leading a life with intention. I came across her Morning Club, and it really clicked with all the things I've been thinking lately. I highly suggest checking it out! It helped me see that I need some more stillness in my life - whether it's reading a book, taking a walk through the neighborhood or sitting in a cafe. I'm excited about having more time to be inspired and setting some concrete goals for myself.

If you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read some of my jumbled thoughts! I hope it made some sense and maybe even resonated with a few of you. Now, I'm off to spend the weekend at home in New Jersey and spend some quality time thinking and getting inspired! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
