the glass house

As promised, photos from our trip to see Philip Johnson's Glass House.

A few interesting facts:
+ the Mies van der Rohe Barcelona chaise you see in the living room is the original prototype he made for Knoll
+ the little box on Johnson's desk has never been opened by curators & it's contents are unknown
+ the leather ottoman in the living room has a cigarette burn from Andy Warhol
