weekend rewind

I hope you all had a nice, relaxing Memorial Day weekend! The weather stayed warm and sunny all weekend–it seems like summer is just about here! Here's what I was up to all weekend...

On Saturday, the boy and I ventured up to Connecticut to tour The Glass House (more photos to come). Afterward we visited with Mackenzie and met her new puppy Rory. It was really great to get out of the city for the day and spend time with friends.

Yesterday we took the ferry over to Governor's Island. After roaming the island, we checked out the Graphic Design-Now in Production exhibit. It was a great exhibit full of amazing graphic design work produced since 2000. Some favorite pieces included Daniel Eatock's Felt Tip Prints and Nicholas Felton's Annual Reports.

The long weekend also included late afternoon drinks at Peels and a night out at the Blind Barber.

And some new bangles for good measure!
