guest post: vacation essentials

I couldn't be more thrilled to kick off a week of guest posting than with Liz from Sequins & Stripes! Liz has amazing personal style and an excellent eye for unique finds.

Hi there! It's Liz from the fashion and style blog, Sequins & Stripes, and I am thrilled to be here today sharing some vacation essentials while Alex is away on vacay. I happen to be jetting off to Florida in a few weeks, too, so I thought it would be fun to show you what I'll be packing for a few days in the sun!

It's important to me that I limit my packing {because it tends to get a little excessive} so I try to lean toward more versatile pieces that can easily be worn day and night. I love a maxi dress the doubles as a bathing suit cover up {add a statement necklace for night} and I always try to bring one pair of wedges and one pair of flats to mix between outfits. Also, accessories always have an important role in my vacation wardrobe, so I make sure to pack a pair of earrings that I can wear 24/7, the perfect pair of sunglasses, and some sunscreen!

What are your vacation essentials? I'd love to hear!

Alex, I hope you're enjoying the sunshine + getting some rest and relaxation! Don't forget to stop by Sequins & Stripes to find daily inspiration for a styled life, and check out my personal website: Elizabeth Schneider Style
